Ms. Candurra and Miss LeVance’s third grade classes had a great day exploring the Cape May Zoo! 🦁🐒

Miss Crowell and Miss Sullivan’s Kindergarten classes had a special visitor last week — Smokey the Bear! 🐻 Both classes have been learning all about fire safety, and Smokey’s visit was the perfect way to wrap it up! The students loved meeting him and learned so much about staying safe!

Mrs. Lee’s first grade class has been learning how scientists look for patterns to answer questions and make predictions about the natural world! They put their skills to the test by experimenting to see if colors of light and paint mix the same way. They had such a great time being real scientists!

Our 6th graders held their class elections last week for President, Vice President, Treasurer, and Secretary! Each student created a campaign poster and gave a speech sharing why they’d make the best candidate for their position. It was a tight race in every category, and every student did an amazing job running for office.
Congratulations to our newly elected leaders — President Parker, Vice President Lana, Treasurer Landyn, and Secretary Kaiya! 👏👏

Miss Sullivan’s class explored apples in all kinds of fun ways last week! They used their five senses to see, smell, taste, feel, and even listen to apples. The students became little scientists—predicting and testing whether apples would sink or float—and then made their own paper apples, too! They wrapped up the week with Miss Crowell’s class by cooking up some delicious homemade applesauce. What a fun (and tasty) week of learning! 🍏✨

Miss LeVance’s third grade class learned about the importance of recycling and how it helps protect our planet! Using newspaper and a glue mixture, students created their very own recycled bowls. After letting them dry for a day, they painted and personalized each one to make them their own! ♻️🎨
