Ms. Crowell’s class had so much fun wrapping up Apple Week by making homemade crockpot applesauce together! The whole classroom smelled amazing as they combined apples, cinnamon, and a little sugar to create a sweet fall treat. Everyone got to enjoy a taste of the delicious applesauce they helped make.🍎🍏

Check out our lucky 'Eagle Buck' winners! Students can receive an Eagle Buck for being kind, responsible, making a positive change, helping others or being a leader. Keep SOARing towards success, Eagles!

Miss LeVance’s third grade class learned about the importance of recycling and how it helps protect our planet! Using newspaper and a glue mixture, students created their very own recycled bowls. After letting them dry for a day, they painted and personalized each one to make them their own! ♻️🎨

What an amazing day at Eagleswood Elementary’s PTA-sponsored Fall Fest! 🍂🎃 Students had a blast spending the day with friends, enjoying all the fun fall activities. A huge thank you to our incredible PTA for organizing such a wonderful event — and a special shoutout to Mr. Stover for donating his time (and his tractor!) for the hayrides. 🚜💛

October is Socktober Month! Please see the flyer attached for details!

Mrs. Colucci's 6th graders were engineers last week as they learned about the processes an engineer has to do in order to make the best paper airplane that would fly the farthest. From deciding the question that needed to be answered, researching and designing the plane, creating prototype after prototype to test to come up with the best plane, the results are in. The winning plane went over 32 feet (probably farther but there was a wall in the way). Working in pairs on this exciting project was so much fun!

From discovering and creating in STEAM to staying active and learning in PE, our students are having a blast every step of the way!
