Our school had so much fun kicking off this year’s Kids Heart Challenge! Alongside this year’s heart heroes, we’re learning about healthy hearts and life lessons like getting active, asking for help, resting well and being kind. BONUS: your student will get a free wristband for joining at http://www2.heart.org/goto/EagleswoodTownshipElementary or using the AHA Schools app.

We hope everyone had the chance to see The SpongeBob Musical! Some of our 6th grade students had the opportunity to participate in the show, and they did a fantastic job! Thank you Stafford Township School District for inviting some of our classes to preview the show as well. Congrats to the entire cast and staff for a great performance!

PTA Candy Bar Bingo!

Mrs. Lee’s first grade learned all about the Chinese New Year and made a dragon craft as well as lots of coloring. They loved all the different designs and little personal touches that they each made!

Miss Sullivan's Kindergarten class has been learning about the Sun and how it gives off heat, and while they are under shade makes us cooler. Using what they learned, students made their own structures to where they thought would reduce the warming effect of the Sun. They also were able to work as a team in their groups!

Mrs. Colucci and Ms. Mack’s 6th grade class have been learning about Ancient Egypt including the Great Pyramids. The 6th graders worked in pairs and constructed a Pyramid using marshmallows and toothpicks. They also had to write about the pyramids, such as what they were made of and who built them. Their hard work is now displayed in the library for all to see.

Our PTA is in need of donations!

Registration is now open for the Stafford Roller Hockey League!

Mrs. O’Keefe and Ms. Anderson’s class had a hot chocolate party where they discussed the steps and ingredients needed to make it!

How beautiful a day can be when kindness touches it! Congrats to our Kind Kids of the week for brightening our halls this week!

Our recent school assembly, led by Lead U, was an incredible opportunity for our students to develop essential social-emotional skills. The assembly was tailored to two distinct age groups, providing age-appropriate guidance on emotional intelligence and conflict resolution. For our younger students in preschool through 2nd grade, the Lead U teaching artists facilitated an engaging session focused on understanding and managing feelings. The interactive presentation helped our youngest learners explore their emotions in a supportive and creative environment. Our 3rd through 6th-grade students learned a powerful conflict resolution strategy with the following steps:
-Tell the person to stop
-Ignore
-Walk away
-Get help
Lead U's approach aligns perfectly with our school's commitment to empowering students and developing their leadership skills. By teaching students how to navigate challenging social situations, we're equipping them with crucial life skills that extend far beyond the classroom. Thank you to the PTA for investing in programs that support our students’
As a principal, I'm proud that we continue to invest in programs that support our social-emotional development and help them find the leaders within themselves.

Mrs. Lee and Mrs. Capozzi’s first grade class made frazzled snow men and snow women before the holiday break, and they sure looked like they are feeling the hustle and bustle of the holidays! The students really got a kick out of these and added their own personal touches.

“If you want to lift yourself up, lift up someone else.” Congrats to our first “Kind Kids” of 2025! Keep spreading kindness everyone!
