Ms. Dengel's 4th grade class completed the Revolutionary War unit with a "No Taxation Without Representation" activity. The students learned how King George unfairly taxed the colonists. King George and his Parliament collected taxes and if the colonists couldn't pay, they were sent to jail. Our colonists were not happy to be in "jail".

Ms. Crowell's Kindergarten class had an amazing Career Day filled with fun, learning, and special visitors! 🚓🐶💛🎨
Students also got into the spirit by dressing up as what they want to be when they grow up, and it was wonderful to see their future dreams come to life.
The day kicked off with the Police Department, as Officer Waldron and K9 Officer Meyer (along with his dog, Gunner!) taught students all about their important roles. Students enjoyed seeing the police car, meeting Gunner, and celebrating with donuts, badges, and bracelets.
An educator from the Ocean County Health Department also visited and led a fun, interactive lesson about emotions. Students learned how to understand and express their feelings and went home with some exciting goodies.
In addition, a parent who works for Sherwin-Williams brought creativity to life with a colorful lesson about the school’s custom colors. Students had a great time naming their own colors and coloring in the school logo.
It was a fantastic day of hands-on learning and unforgettable experiences!

Ms. Crowell’s kindergarten class has baby chicks! 🐥
What a wonderful experience this has been for the students! They have learned so much while watching the chicks grow from eggs in the incubator to now caring for them as baby chicks in their classroom. It has been so exciting to observe the hatching process and see how the chicks change each day.
Ms. Crowell and the kindergarten class feel so lucky to share this special experience with the entire school and to bring hands-on learning to life for all of the students! 💛
