Ms. Anderson’s Social Skills Club practiced and performed short skits about friendship yesterday! Students had a great time acting, laughing, and learning what it means to be a kind and supportive friend.

Ms. Anderson’s class had some very special guest readers last week for Read Across America! Thank you to Officer Stephens and the wonderful student readers for sharing their love of books. The class loved listening to their stories! 📚

We had a special guest reader stop by for Read Across America Week! Mr. Chidiac, spent some time reading with our classes and sharing in the fun. The students loved having him join us for story time! Thanks for visiting, Mr. Chidiac! 😊📚

From March 2–April 17, each class will compete to collect the most loose change to support our PTA! Weekly totals will be shared, and the top three classes will win fun prizes! Send in your spare change and let the games begin! Which class will be our school champion?🏆

Mrs. Colucci’s sixth grade class spent two days working in pairs to build pyramids as a culminating activity for their Ancient Egypt unit. Using marshmallows and toothpicks, students constructed their models, researched how and why the pyramids were built, and applied math skills by creating 3D prisms to help their structures stand properly!

A special evening at this month’s Board of Education meeting! We proudly recognized our STEAM Tank Team for their hard work and innovation and welcomed our honorary board members, who joined the experience and got a firsthand look at what makes our school community so special!

On Friday, Ms. LeVance's 3rd grade class celebrated both the 100th day of school and Valentine’s Day! Students were challenged to use 100 cubes to try and create something Valentine’s Day related! ❤️

Ms. Crowell’s class enjoyed two special days of celebration as they marked their 100th and 101st days of school! Students had fun with 100th Day centers and sharing Valentine’s kindness, then continued the excitement with a playful dalmatian-themed day filled with creative shirts, hats, and smiles. It was a joyful two-day celebration of friendship, creativity, and being 101 days smarter! 🖤🤍

Tuckerton Branch Library's March Calendar

Sixth grade students recently began reading The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe while exploring the fantasy genre. After finishing Chapter 4 — when Edmund is tempted with enchanted Turkish Delight in exchange for bringing his siblings to Narnia — the class decided to taste the treat themselves to see if it lived up to his description. While some students enjoyed it, no one quite shared Edmund’s level of obsession. They agreed his version must have been a little more magical.

Ms. Parks' class had the sweetest time on Donut Day! 🍩 As part of their Building Study, students transformed the classroom into a donut shop, practiced taking orders, and served staff members just like real Dunkin’ employees. It was such a fun, hands-on way to learn through play!

A big thank you to the Ocean County Prosecutor's Office for visiting Eagleswood! They spoke with our 4th-6th graders about social media safety, bullying, and resiliency. Our students did an amazing job listening and participating!

Upcoming SEPAG Meeting

At our first school-wide awards assembly last week, we celebrated our 1st and 2nd marking period Honor Roll and High Honor Roll students! Honor Roll recognizes students with all A’s and B’s, while High Honor Roll celebrates those with all A’s. We also recognized our SOARing Students of each marking period—students who exemplify being Helpful, Kind, and Responsible.
We also took a special moment to celebrate Officer Stephens in honor of School Resource Officer Day on Sunday, February 15th. We are so grateful for her dedication, her kindness, and everything she does to keep our school safe and welcoming!
Congratulations to all of our honorees on these well-deserved achievements! 🦅💙👏

Bravo to the talented cast of the Stafford Township School District’s 6th grade musical, Alice in Wonderland Jr. — especially our Eagleswood Elementary students who lit up the stage! We’re so proud of your hard work and imagination. It was a performance full of wonder from start to finish! 🎬🎭
