6th grade spent the day at Island Beach State Park where they walked trails up to the beach and learned about the different types of plants that are along our barrier island, completed a competition on finding the different types of seashell you find here, and then the best part, seining where they found sand shrimp, minnows, snails, and more. It was a beautiful day to spend outside learning.
