A thoughtful 5th grade student is making a difference for the butterflies in her community! Understanding the vital role milkweed plays in the butterfly life cycle, particularly for monarchs, she noticed a potential problem on the school playground. To protect the butterflies' food source and habitat, she created a sign reminding everyone not to cut down the milkweed. Her actions demonstrate a strong understanding of environmental stewardship and a caring attitude towards local wildlife.

Ms. Anderson and Mrs. O’Keefe’s class made marshmallow play dough for Valentine’s Day! It was a great listening activity!

Hello families! We’ve set a goal to create a community of lifesavers by getting everyone to take Finn’s Mission and learn Hands-Only CPR. When given immediately, it can double (even triple) a person’s chance of surviving cardiac arrest. If you haven’t done it yet, take Finn’s Mission today to learn this lifesaving skill. http://www2.heart.org/goto/EagleswoodTownshipElementary

Super Bowl Day!

Our school had so much fun kicking off this year’s Kids Heart Challenge! Alongside this year’s heart heroes, we’re learning about healthy hearts and life lessons like getting active, asking for help, resting well and being kind. BONUS: your student will get a free wristband for joining at http://www2.heart.org/goto/EagleswoodTownshipElementary or using the AHA Schools app.

We hope everyone had the chance to see The SpongeBob Musical! Some of our 6th grade students had the opportunity to participate in the show, and they did a fantastic job! Thank you Stafford Township School District for inviting some of our classes to preview the show as well. Congrats to the entire cast and staff for a great performance!
