The fifth grade class did a whole entire unit on plants. They planted seeds in soil and also did hydroponic planting. Their results were amazing as you can see!

6th grade spent the day at Island Beach State Park where they walked trails up to the beach and learned about the different types of plants that are along our barrier island, completed a competition on finding the different types of seashell you find here, and then the best part, seining where they found sand shrimp, minnows, snails, and more. It was a beautiful day to spend outside learning.

Our fifth grade class visited the Franklin Institute in Philadelphia on Friday and had an amazing time exploring, learning, and making memories together! First Grade students studied the Moon Phases and Planets for the past two weeks. They received diplomas for graduating from the Space Academy. They had so much fun creating projects and learning about this Science theme!

Ms. Candurra’s 3rd Grade class enjoyed watching the life cycle of the Painted Lady Butterfly in their classroom. They observed the butterflies grow from caterpillars, to chrysalises, and finally into butterflies before releasing them! 🦋

Mrs. Nesbihal’s Pre-K class had a wonderful trip to the Tuckerton Library last week! The students explored the history of the library, enjoyed a story time read-aloud, created a fun hands-on craft, and even had the special opportunity to choose their own books to read. It was an engaging and memorable experience for everyone!
