Eagleswood Township Elementary School

Our 6th grade students enjoyed their first class trip of the year to Ellis Island and the Statue of Liberty! Students had the opportunity to walk in the footsteps of the many immigrants who came to America and learn about their journeys.

A special thank-you to our Board of Education for funding this meaningful educational experience! 💙🦅

Mrs. Lee’s First Grade Class wrote some Spooktacular Halloween Stories! Each student chose an item their ghost had for dinner and created a subtraction equation to go along with their story. Their creative writing and math work are now decorating the hallway! Happy Halloween! 🎃👻

Ms. Anderson’s class brought learning to life with a festive pumpkin-themed reading activity! Students enjoyed hands-on literacy fun as they explored letters, sounds, and early reading skills in a creative and engaging way! 🎃📚

Get ready for Halloween Spirit Week! 🎃👻🦇

Ms. Candurra’s third grade class had a wild time on their class trip to the Cape May Zoo! Students had fun learning interesting facts about different animals and their habitats. A big thank you to our PTA for helping make this fun class trip possible!

Our students had the best time enjoying an afternoon full of fall fun—from picking pumpkins on the hayride to games, mummy wrapping, treats, and plenty of laughs! A huge THANK YOU to our amazing PTA for putting together such a fun event for our students year after year! And a special thank you to Mr. Stover for providing the hayride and always supporting Eagleswood! 🚜🎃🍂

Tuckerton Branch Library's November Calendar

Ms. LeVance’s 1st graders became little investigators this week! Our young scientists spent the week learning all about pumpkins and even discovered that pumpkins float! They explored the science behind why pumpkins float and put their curious minds to the test. These little investigators are gourd at science! 🔍 🎃 🧡

A huge thank you to Eagleswood Fire Company, Station 52, for spending the morning with us yesterday! Our students had a great time learning important fire safety tips and getting an up-close look at the fire trucks. We’re so grateful for the time you take to educate our students and for everything you do to keep our community safe! ❤️🚒🔥

🍎 Apple Week in Crowell’s Class! 🍎

Mrs. Crowell’s class had so much fun celebrating Apple Week with a variety of hands-on activities! Their little scientists taste-tested red, yellow, and green apples, made predictions for a sink-or-float experiment, and checked to see if their predictions were correct. They also made Apple Volcanoes and explored what happens when different ingredients are mixed together! 🌋🍎

The week ended with homemade applesauce made right in their classroom crockpot! Each student had a chance to help, making it a fun (and delicious!) way to wrap up their week!

Our 6th graders loved reading to their Pre-K friends in Ms. Parks' class! 📚🦅

Mrs. Nesbihal’s class had so much fun making pumpkin play dough! 🎃 The students mixed, poured, and created their own pumpkin-scented play dough!

Ms. Anderson’s class had an amazing time participating in the Stafford Olympics ! They had so much fun cheering each other on, making memories, and showing off their Olympic spirit! They are all winners! 🥇

Week of Respect is next week!
