Teacher Of The Year
Ms. Karen Stryker
Karen Stryker is honored to be recognized as Teacher of the Year. The 2019-2020 school year is her fourth year teaching special education at Eagleswood Township Elementary School District. She is a graduate of Georgian Court University. Karen started her career as a paraprofessional in Allenwood School in Wall, New Jersey, before joining the Eagleswood family.
Karen appreciates coming to work everyday and being a part of such an amazing staff. Karen said, "The school has become my second home and I count many of my co-worker’s as friends. The best part of my job is seeing a student overcome struggles, enjoy learning and becoming good citizens. So often I find that the students I am trying to inspire are the ones that end up inspiring me". Karen enjoys celebrating every accomplishment, big and small. During the summer months, Karen relaxes by reading at the beach, camping and fishing.
