Cash-4-Trash

Dear Parents, Students, and Friends:

It is with great enthusiasm that Eagleswood Township Elementary School requests your FREE support in our funding alternative. We are participating in a program called “Cash-4-Trash”.

“Cash-4-Trash” provides an opportunity for schools and their communities to save empty laser and inkjet cartridges in exchange for CASH! As you may already know, Eagleswood Township Elementary School needs funding for class trips and assemblies. With over 300 million cartridges thrown away last year alone, we hope some of that “Trash” will be converted to “Cash” for your children.

Laser and inkjet cartridges are found in printers, fax machines and desktop copiers at homes and businesses. Your place of employment can support us by donating their used cartridges to our school. There is never a cost involved in participating and free, prepaid shipping boxes are located here at the school in the front vestibule. Just drop off your empty cartridge and we do the rest.

Try to get your friends’, neighbors’, relatives’ and businesses’ “Trash” too! Every empty inkjet and laser cartridge we recycle for cash helps save the environment plus helps your school.

When sending in loose cartridges with children, place them in a plastic bag(s) to prevent them from getting any remaining ink on themselves or their clothing.

We welcome your support and your cartridges! Your support will help teach children that recycling makes dollars and sense! Thank you in advance for your participation.
